
Black Pearl mushrooms are a hybrid from Japan. The edible stems and caps are often used as replacements for the King Oysters as they have a similar taste, but with a slightly softer texture.
They are soft and dense with a meat-like flavor that can work well on its own or alongside real meat in a dish. They taste amazing grilled, as mushroom scallops, and even made into 'pork ribs'. They also work great added to pasta or any other of your favorite mushroom dishes.
